Jasa Marga Business Revenue Increases 15,43% in Semester I 2012

PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk with banknote code of JSMR, in Semester I 2012 recorded Business Revenue of Rp 3,27 trillion or increased 15,43% compared to the revenue in Semester I 2011 of Rp 2,84 Trillion. For Toll Revenue, the increase is 17,92%, to Rp 2,69 Trillion, compared to last year of Rp 2,29 Trillion. As per 2012, Jasa Marga Financial Report has fully implemented the IFRS-based Financial Accounting Standard according to the applicable provisions. Corporate EBITDA increased 27,37%, from 1,62 Trillion in Semester I 2011 to Rp 2,07 Trillion in Semester I 2012 and transaction volume in semester I 2012 reached 583,86 millions vehicles or increased 11,52% compared to 2011. 
In Semester I 2012, the Corporate has sold all Treasury Shares and CMNP Share ownership. The Treasury Share Selling has increased Corporate Equity of Rp 130,82 Billion. The CMNP Share selling has increased Corporate Revenue of Rp 146,96 Billions. Within the same semester, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk Subsidiary, PT Transmarga Jatim Pasuruan operating Gempol-Pasuruan Toll road, PT Margabumi Adhikaraya operating Gempol-Pandaan Toll road, and PT Jasa Marga Bali Tol operating Nusa Dua Ngurah Rai Benoa Toll road have attained bank loan syndication respectively of Rp 1,94 Trillion, Rp 817 Billion, and Rp 1,7 Trillion. The banking syndication includes Bank Mandiri, BNI, BRI, BCA, BTN, Bank BPD Bali, Bank DKI, Bank Jabar Banten and Bank BPD Jatim.

Transaction Service Improvement

Starting 29 April 2012, Jasa Marga in cooperation with Bank Mandiri have launched its latest innovation, the e-Toll pass service. With e-Toll pass, toll transaction can be done without opening car window in tollgate. Therefore, cars will not need to stop, they just need to slow down to 10 km/hour.

The e-Toll pass with e-Toll Card must be installed in car to enable transaction in GTO post with “e-Toll pass” sign. Currently, there are 38 e-toll posts installed throughout Cawang-Tomang-Cengkareng, Jakarta-Cikampek and Jakarta Outer Ringroad toll roads.

Renewed Energy

Since May 2012, Jasa Marga has implemented the use of Public Road Lighting with solar cell energy. The lighting starts from Cawang-Tomang-Cengkareng toll road of 38 km length using solar cell energy to light 1.800 lamps. Previously, in 2010, there were 267 units of solar cell LED lamps installed in Cipularang toll lane. Jasa Marga initiated the installation in the spirit of inevitable renewed energy. The hope is to increase society’s awareness on energy conversion and alternative energy resources.

Corporate Social Responsibility

In its activity, Jasa Marga always pays attention to the corporate responsibilty. In 2011, Jasa Marga publishes 100.000 books of “I Obey Traffic Rules”, for elementary students, distributed to public and religious elementary schools in 25 municipalities in Indonesia, surrounding Jasa Marga toll road corridor. As an environmental concern, Jasa Marga with its “toll road reforestation”, has planted ± 140.000 trees in 2011, disbursed in all Jasa Marga operational regions with total cost of ± Rp 8 Billion. Jasa Marga also disbursed 300.000 mangrove seeds, as part of “Bali cares for Mangrove” program.
