Jakarta (30/12) The asset recycling initiative will be continued by Jasa Marga at the end of 2021 as part of the company's corporate goal to balance business growth and long-term sustainability. For one thing, Jasa Marga can get rid of its 9.5% interest in PT JPM, the company in charge of operating the Pandaan-Malang Toll Road.
Officially, the divestment of 9 percent of Jasa Marga's total 60 percent stake in PT JPM was completed on Thursday (30/12) with the signing of the Sales Purchase Agreement (SPA) with PT Astra Tol Nusantara (ASTRA Infra). Kartika Wirjoatmodjo, Deputy Minister of BUMN II, virtually attended this event as well with putting healh protocols in place.
Jasa Marga President Director Subakti Syukur, ASTRA Infra President Director Djap Tet Fa, and ASTRA Infra Director Kris Ade Sudiyono signed the agreement.
Following the signing of the SPA, the current composition of PT JPM's shareholders is 51 percent owned by Jasa Marga and 49 percent owned by ASTRA Infra, which also acquired 35 percent of PT PP (Persero) Tbk's shares and 5 percent of PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) as the previous shareholder of PT JPM.

PT JPM is a Toll Road Business Entity that manages the 38.5-kilometer Pandaan-Malang Toll Road, which has been fully operational since 2020 and has 35-year concession rights (2017-2052).
This toll road is now fully operational, contributing for improving connectivity in the East Java region, particularly access to tourist areas, and encouraging regional economic growth.
