Probolinggo (29/07), PT Jasamarga Probolinggo Banyuwangi (JPB), a business group of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk which manages the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road has already reported that the progress of land acquisition for section 1 of the Probolinggo-Besuki Section (29.6 Km) which has been reached 24.88% as of the end of July 2021.
PT JPB President Director Adi Prasetyanto said that based on the schedule, it has targeted that the land acquisition for section 1 can be accomplishment at the end of 2021, as the result, the planning for construction work of section 1 from the Probolinggo-Besuki section will be begin in 2022.
"If only everything can be do it well based on the predetermined schedule, then the construction target for section 1 can be completed in 2024. Since construction has not yet started, PT JPB's focus is currently supporting the Land Acquisition Commitment Making Officer (PPK) for speeding up the land acquisition process for section 1 Probolinggo – Besuki, as the result, the target of the construction work can be do it well according to the predetermined schedule,” explained Adi.
PT PJB together with PPK making the coordinating as an attempting for an acceleration including proposing an allocation for land funding procurement in 2021 with the Committee for the Acceleration in Provision of Priority Infrastructure (KPPIP) and the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR).
Adi also added that currently accomodating along land funding allocation planning from the Goverment has become the priority of PT JPB is section 1 of the Probolinggo-Besuki (Probolinggo Regency) section.
"But surely we also continuing for monitoring Section 2 Besuki-Bajulmati (Situbondo Regency) along 110.9 Km and Section 3 Bajulmati-Ketapang (Banyuwangi Regency) along 31 Km which land acquisition process is also constantly. In June 2021, the payment of compensation money (UGK) were also carried out for 22 fields using Direct Payments from the State's Asset Management Agency (LMAN)," concluded Adi.
During this COVID-19 pandemic, PT JPB still striving for realizing the targets that is the signing of the results from Boundary Arrangement of the Borrow to Use Permit of Forest Areas (IPPKH) for the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road Section 1 by the Director General of Forestry Planning and Environmental Management at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry while still implementing strict health protocols.
PT JPB also always maximizes online meetings and coordinates with relevant agencies as an effort to complete the construction of the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road continuously and actively in many ways, such as:, including coordination with the Ministry of PUPR regarding toll road design and land acquisition priorities, processing railroad crossing permits. to the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road with the Ministry of Transportation and with LMAN for the process, mechanism and reimbursement of UGK payments.
The Probolinggo-Banyuwangi Toll Road with a total length of 171,516 Km will be the end point of the Trans Java Toll Road network with a concession period of 35 years and a total investment of IDR 23.3 trillion. Later, if only it has already built, then from the west to the east of Java Island will be connected to the toll road, making it easier for people, goods and services for mobility.
