Bekasi (15/07) – As the form of support from Jasamarga Transjawa Tollroad Regional Division for the policy of Implementing Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) during the Eid al-Adha 1442 H holiday and in accordance with the Letter of the Head of the Toll Road Regulatory Agency of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing Number: BM.07.02-P/595 dated July 15, 2021 and Letter of Traffic Corps of the Republic of Indonesia Police Number: B/211/VII/OPS.1.1/2021/Korlantas dated July 14, 2021 regarding Application for Closure from Elevated Toll Road of The Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed (MBZ) Flyover will be temporarily closed, which will start on July 16, 2021 at 00.00 WIB until July 22, 2021 at 24.00 WIB. The flyover will return to normal operation on July 23, 2021 at 00.01 WIB.
President Director of PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek (JJC) George I.M.P Manurung stated that the closure of the MBZ Flyover was carried out to support Emergency PPKM in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 transmission. Hopefully, the closure of this flyover can control the rate of community mobility in and out of Jabodetabek during the Eid al-Adha 1442 Hijriah holiday.
"We will close all entry and exit access, both to Cikampek and to Jakarta. For travelers who are in the essential and critical sectors excluded categories during this Emergency PPKM period, we urged them to be able to use the lower Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road to be able to continue their journey from and or to Cikampek," added George.
Vehicle Entry Access to the closed MBZ Overpass:
- Access to vehicles from the direction of Cawang to Cikampek
- Access to vehicles from the direction of Jatiasih to Cikampek (Km 45A JORR Toll Road Section E)
- Access to vehicles from Rorotan to Cikampek (Km 46B JORR Toll Road Section E)
- Access to vehicles from Km 48B of the Jakarta-Cikampek Bawah Toll Road to Jakarta
