(06/01), Jakarta, As Indonesia's leading toll road developer and operator, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk has constantly expanded its toll road concession portfolio in order to maximize shareholder value while maintaining its market leadership position in the toll road business.
According to Dwimawan Heru, head of the Corporate Communication and Community Development Group at Jasa Marga, in accordance with the Company's Long-Term Plan, Jasa Marga entered the tender for the concession of the Gedebage-Tasikmalaya-Cilacap toll road with consortium partners, and based on the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing's Letter PB.02.01 -Mn/2170 dated December 10, 2021, the Jasa Marga Consortium was declared the winner of the investment tender for the Gedebage-Tasikmalaya-Cilacap Toll Road, which spans 206.65 Km.

Heru further stated that if the Consortium is successful in the Gedebage-Tasikmalaya-Cilacap Toll Road Concession auction, it will establish a Toll Road Business Entity (BUJT) to sign and perform the Toll Road Concession Agreement's duties (PPJT). Jasa Marga will hold a total concession of 1,809 km following the signing of the PPJT.
"In addition to this new toll road concession, Jasa Marga and other consortiums are now participating in the Patimban Access Toll Road concession process, having cleared the pre-qualification stage and ready to continue to the bidding stage," Heru added.
Jasa Marga's objective is to increase the acquisition of new toll roads with a favorable financial feasibility while maintaining the Company's financial position, in order to assist the Government in accelerating infrastructure development and contributing to the improvement of the Indonesian economy.
